 “The secret of change
is to focus all of your energy
not on fighting the old,
but on building the new.”

Changes are a constant.
Finding how to deal with them will make the transition to a new beginning a lot easier

The chances are you have arrived here because you feel a bit confused. Maybe life has thrown something at you or is about to, and you’re not sure where to start. So you might feel a bit lost, worried, possibly unclear about what lays ahead.

Whether it be a change of career, divorce, the birth of a child, a life changing health issue, relocating abroad, even a planned retirement... All of these and many more, will demand a period and a process of adaptation. How do you know you have all you need to respond to such changes in the best possible way for a successful outcome? How will you dissipate the "confusion fog" so you can see clearly the opportunities and obstacles ahead?

Despite “change” being daunting, embracing it can allow us to grow and evolve – that is transition. If you are lucky to be able to plan for that change, the transition will be smoother, if not, the process can at times feel rather rough.

Types of transitions

Transition coaching supports individuals in navigating major life changes. Depending on the trigger for that transition and the situation you are in, the tools used are different. The aim is the same: to enable you move from where you are now, with all the confusion, lack of awareness maybe even some fears, to where you want to be, with confidence, calm and clarity.

From the shock to a new beginning

Often changes come unexpectedly and are sometimes unwanted. This can be a bit of a bomb shell for us humans and creates what Dr Kubler-Ross describes as the "Transition Curve" to learn more about how I approach the various phases please click here:

Planning ahead for a
smooth new beginning

By far the best position to be in. When you think it is time you made a change, you can look at the opportunities, the pitfalls, the consequences, the true motivation and plan so the outcome will be more positive and with a happier ending for all involved.

Chris is an amazing coach who listens carefully and asks very good, insightful questions. We had 6 sessions together and she really helped me understand who I am and what my goals are and how to achieve them. I always felt relaxed in our sessions and was able to open up easily in front of Chris. I highly recommend her as a coach!
